About Us

Salt Dog Studios, is a family-run business in Whitstable, Kent, a quaint and individual seaside town. 

We have been selling collars and leads since 2012, with our own four dogs being the inspiration behind our business. We originally started making them on our Mum's kitchen table, but we soon needed a studio. 

Over the years, we have made lots of different designs, using fabric, ribbons, webbing and hemp.

Our fabric collection is now unique to Salt Dog Studios, as it is hand-drawn and designed by us. You won't find our designs anywhere but here.

We started making hemp dog collars in 2013 when the breeder of one of our dogs could only get them in the USA. We became the very first manufacturers and suppliers in the UK. We then extended our hemp by doing a stripey range. 

We are committed to providing great customer service, unique and top-quality products, and keeping you and your dogs as our main focus.
